Flags of the United Nations
Struck by John Pinches in hallmarked sterling silver, and issued in 1974.
Obviously some of the national boundaries will have changed since this set was issued, some countries have been renamed, disappeared, or been replaced by new states. This set effectively records the map of the world as it existed in 1974.

138 Individual Flags
Each silver tablet is an individual size and shape to record not only the theme of each flag but also its exact proportions. Each flag has its colours represented heraldically to represent the appropriate colours. The reverse of each medal is also individual, as each shows its country highlighted on a map including the surrounding regions.
